Hey guys...I am coming down to fish old hickory with my dad and we have never been there. Coming down from illinois for a long weekend of Nashville and largemouth! Can anyone point us to some areas to try out. Are the fish shallow/ deep, what should we throw? Any info you can give is appreciated!

dflo20, When are you coming down? O.H is a lake your can fish about any pattern and catch some fish. Fish are always shallow on this lake you can flip a jig, spinnerbait and shallow cranks. Also you can fish deep with jigs and dd-22 - c-rigs and 10" worms on ledges and creek channel bends. There are some great guides down here and some good rates right now. www.briancarper.com is pretty good on this lake.
