Hey fellow bassers.
I have finally committed to a BWS divsion for 2009.
I have decided to fish the TN East division. The biggest reason is I want to fish O.H. regional. I think I have a better chance at making nationals out of O.H. then traveling to the Central regional. It will require a bit more travel but I am ready for it. Brian Carper is going to join in and travel with me. I just have to concentrate on catching fish and finishing in the top 40.
My 1st tournament is guntersville February 14th. It also happens to be the same weekend at FLW Tour. The lake will be crowded and areas to fish will be tough to come by. I am looking forward to it. the last time i fished the big G I had 3 fish for 15lbs.
I will be looking for a C0-Angler for the TN East if anyone is interested let me know. Also some prefishing time for the lakes if anyone is interested in sharing the boat.
tight lines

With the regional in your back yard? Yes, good decision. Fish all the events and catch a fish or two and you should be in. Not much boat traffic on Watts Bar right now. That stuff makes your boat look real bad and is hard to wash off. The fish should be fine, on of my favorite spots on the lake is a place where that junk empties into the Emory....well it's not there anymore. www.tva.gov/emergency/photo_gallery/index.htm

Those are some nasty pictures. What am i supposed to do, flip a jig in that stuff? Rontay, are you going in as a boater for the East? Don't happen to know any co-anglers looking to hook up do you? I might have to have someone register for me at Guntersville.

JP, I am still going to fish some select Central tournaments. Probably, Priest, Center Hill and KY Lake. I can get you a hook up with a Boater no problem. Brian Carper, Ron Taylor, John Wells Shay Doming and myself are in the market for some co's.

I might have to have someone register for me at Guntersville. LOL.. I was thinking a SCUM frog. Yes I'm going as a boater again this year. I'll ask around to see, most of the nons I know are accounted for. There is a guy out your way wanting to fish the Guntersville tourn as a non. I gave him your website so he may be in contact with you. I think his name is Kevin P. He has a couple of posts on the ABA website looking for someone. I think he's booking a room and looking to share costs as well. TVA is currently dredging the Emory and Clinch rivers of the ash. I'm sure the river will be reopen by April at the latest. Lots of people use coal ash in their gardens because of the large amount of phosperous. You know what that stuff does to fish . There was two years a while back where some bass got into one of the setteling ponds. The water looked like choc milk but those fish GREW FAST. I caught some TOADS off the bank of that pond for those two years. The first year they were all 8-12 inches long, the next year they were all over 4lbs some close to six. No one would beleive me so I convinced my wife to go over with me. We had a blast that summer catching those fish. The next spring....they all died... it was fun while it lasted. Later.

Hey guys, I do need someone to link with me in the TN Central. I am at least planning on fishing the Priest, OHL and maybe KY Lake. I can not make the Center Hill tourney due to being in a wedding. I just basically want to fish the Divisional on Priest even though it will be kind of tough! Let me know my number is 270-535-1644
