Brian Carper and I went out for a few hours today on Priest. We launched at Fate Sanders about 9:30a.m. Our main focus was to fish deep water fish over tree tops. I really never have fished spoons much so we focused on learning to fish spoons. Our 1st bluff we came to I caught two pretty quick out of 40ft of water. A guy pulled in behind us using shiners and caught 2 or 3 more while we were there. We moved to a few other bluffs and caught a few more fish. Nothing good but at leat it was bass. You better bundle up if you are going over the next few days. We have some cold weather moving in.
Water Temps 44 to 45 degrees, slightly stained, 3 ft clarity cloudy skies falling barometer
