I had to work the weekend, however I was able to make it out Sunday evening. I fished from 5ish to about 8:30 pm up the East fork of Stones river. I started out fishing jigs on the chunk rock bluffs with now takers. As I fished I noticed a ton of fry or bait fish on the shallow woody side of the river and suddenly the surface just exploded. I quickly put the tm on 5 and shot across the river. I picked up my white fluke and caught 6 bass on 6 casts. Granted they were not very big but still fun. I managed 14 bass out of the school and even came back just before dark and caught a few more. I ran up past Mona boat ramp and caught 2 keepers off a bluff with a jig. Also, whatch for idiots wake boarding up there. They don't even slow down going past you and wakes roll over my back deck. I was a little pissed to say the least. All in all it was a good evening.
