Yesterday evening I had the opportunity to take Steve K. fishing out on Percy Priest. Steve is one of salesman that work for the same company as I do, Innovative Plastics. We got out to the West Fork of Stones river around 6:00 pm. We headed up the west fork to a favorite spot of mine that tends to hold big fish. There is absolutely no current up the river or at least very little. However we managed to catch some fish. I tied on a shakey head and zoom finesse worm in bullfrog. I got the 7 bass out of that hole and 3 of them 15" or better. Steve got 3 bass using a watermelon jig. After it got dark we hit a few spots on the way back to the ramp. I ended up with a nice solid 4lb'er and a 3lb bass on a black jig and Steve caught a decent 2lb fish. I also caught 2 ky spots that were a hair over 14". I would say my best 5 would have gone 13 or 14 lbs. I didn't think that was too bad in a few hours of fishing.
I will be on KY Lake this weekend prefishing for the up coming TNBASS Federatino tournament. I will try to have plenty of pictures and write ups on that tournament.
