I was able to make it out Wednesday to Priest. I fished with good friend Brian Carper. We launched at Four Corners around 11:30 a.m. The day was very overcast and off/on rain showers. The temps started out upper 50's but gradually fell off to low 50's. We started out hitting 12-15ft brush piles around mid lake with not much luck. We headed down lake to fish some ledges and I caught a decent largemouth out in 20ft of water. Brian hooked up on a keeper smallie. We moved to some bluffs and found a small pocket of fish. We wound up catching about 15 Ky Spots with a few of them 14-15" We caught them from 5ft down to 40ft of water. The key was to fish slow! I hope to get out in the next week or two severall more times. I have several days off work and nothing better to do. What is better to do then fishing?
